Gran Hotel Albacete

Large, comfortable room which was very clean. Excellent location. Friendly, helpful receptionist. Good breakfast from a set menu, not buffet & served to your table.

The location was perfect. The hotel was clean but the room location was terrible with two very small windows that looked on to a wall

This was our second stay and we decided to upgrade this time to a junior suite, which had more room and it was very comfortable. Some of the staff spoke English which was great as after 4 years away my spnish was very rusty of non practice 🤣 It an great location as its set in the heart of Albacete closeby to restaurants, parks and shopping and a short 5 minute walk from the train station. If you want some really quality restaurants you can find them closeby. There are many including at the Hotel but our favourite was Garabatos. The food and staff are excellent with a modern touch and wonderful flavours. Whether you sit indoors in winter or outdoors beside the park in Summer you will not be disappointed and it is straight across from the hotel.

Right in the heart of the old city, our room was very pleasant and a good size,breakfast was a very good choice , with a cook on demand chef for bacon eggs various etc

Lovely old building. In a perfect spot for short exploration of town. Parking we didn’t use. Cathedral car park was €15 overnight and 2 min walk.
